It has a name, a character, a residence and an identity. It is moulded by the products and people that manufacture and distribute those products. The company itself was established as a sawmill in Neuburg on the Danube around 1900. Grünwald began manufacturing profiled mouldings in 1952.

During the phase of rapid industrialisation efficient organisational solutions and production methods were constantly enhanced and optimised. The company has gone up on the basis of a long-term strategy with a clear focus on interior finish and customised products for the furniture industry. The mouldings manufactured at Neuburg on the Danube helped Grünwald to create an exceptionally distinct profile. And they are still characteristic of the image of the Grünwald brand. For example, there is virtually no profile that cannot be manufactured by Grünwald. After all, its own specially equipped toolmaking department enables us to produce any design according to specification. Large batches or job-related customised products for the interior finish trade and the furniture industry – the professionals at Grünwald implement customer`s specifications quickly and reliably.

For a long time profiles have not been just components connecting the floor and walls – they are decorative components that fulfil a funcition.
